Two brothers are sent into space while playing a strange board game. They must survive meteor showers, aliens and an out of control robot to reach the planet Zathura. Otherwise they could be trapped in space forever. Stars Josh Hutcherson and Tim Robbins.

Film Trivia

• Jonah Bobo, who plays Danny, lost four teeth during the making of this film. Since the film takes place on just one day he was required to wear false teeth.
• Legendary voice actor, Frank Oz, plays the Robot in this film.
• When this film was first conceived the intention was to make it a sequel to Jumanji due to the films' similarity.
• The next film that director Jon Favreau made after this, was the hugely successful Iron Man.
