Film Trivia

• Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen appear much younger in the opening scene of this movie. Stewart's appearance was based on publicity photos from his first season on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
• Famke Jannsen did much research on split personality disorder to make her performance with Hugh Jackman in the medical lab more believable.
• Cain Marko's line, 'Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!', was inspired by an internet parody of the X-Men animated series.
• Bryan Singer admits that he regrets not returning to direct this third instalment in the X-Men series. He said that he knew he'd made a mistake 'before I was watching it, during watching it and after watching it'.
