A teen agrees to babysit for a rich couple. When she arrives at their mansion, she settles in for the night. But when somebody starts calling the house anonymously she panics and makes the terrifying discovery that the caller is watching her every move.

• Although the stranger is played by Scottish-born actor Tommy Flanagan, Lance Henriksen provides his voice. This was because director Simon West decided that Flanagan looked the part but Henriksen sounded the part.
• In preparation for her role as Jill, Camilla Belle underwent two months of weight training and learnt how to run properly.
• Jill's high school is called Fernhill. This was the name of director Simon West's school.
• The voice of the stranger's first victim is that of Simon West's 12-year old daughter.
