Frances (Diane Lane) is a divorced writer who decides she needs some time away from her problems. So her best friend (Sandra Oh) takes her to Tuscany, where Frances finds love and decides to start a new life. Co stars Raoul Bova.

• Director/screenwriter Audrey Wells claims that when she was writing the script she always had Sandra Oh in mind for the role of Patti.
• Audrey Wells wanted to cast Polish actors in the parts of Polish workers, but there were too many problems getting visas for the Polish actors from the Italian government.
