Four teenagers with supernatural powers are forced to defend their school from someone who is determined to cause chaos. As soul survivors of an ancient bloodline, they must take on a power they thought had died out a long time ago.

Film Trivia

• All of the spiders in this film were created using CGI.
• Director Renny Harlin is known for including elements of Finnish culture in his films. In this film there is a famous Finnish painting hanging up on Sarah's wall. It is painted by Hugo Simberg and it is called Wounded Angel.
• While shooting the police chase, the camera got caught on the lights on the roof of the police car as the vehicle swerved under the camera. Nobody was injured but the car and crane were damaged and the camera was destroyed.
• Chace Crawford, who stars in this film as Tyler, is best known for his role as Nate on the hit US television series Gossip Girl.
