The year is 2003 and instead of stopping the war against the machines, John Connor (Nick Stahl) only delayed it. Now, as the war draws nearer the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) returns to protect him again. With Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken.
Film Trivia
- Legendary special effects make up artist Stan Winston worked on this film. He also worked on the first two Terminator films as well as the spin-ff theme park attraction T2:3D Battle Across Time.
- Kristanna Loken put on 15 pounds of muscle in preparation for her role. She also took mime classes because her character has so few lines and had to learn how to communicate through facial expressions and body gestures.
- Arnold Schwarzenegger's classic line 'I'll be back', is not said in this film. Instead variations of it are used such as 'She'll be back' and 'I'm back'.
- Linda Hamilton was asked to reprise her role as Sarah Connor but declined. It was written into the script that her character died from leukaemia in 1997.
- When filming Kristanna Loken's opening scene in which she arrives naked, she got a piece of glass stuck in her leg due to walking barefoot in the street.
