The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is back from the future. His mission is to protect mankind's saviour, John Connor (Edward Furlong), from the even more dangerous T-1000 (Robert Patrick). Co stars Linda Hamilton.

Film Trivia

• This film cost $90 million, making it the most expensive production at the time.
• The original script did not call for the roof of the truck to be ripped off during the chase scene. But when director James Cameron arrived on set he discovered the only way for the truck to get under the bridge would be for the roof to be ripped off
• Most of Edward Furlong's dialogue had to be dubbed by Furlong in post-production because at the time of filming his voice kept breaking.
• Arnold Schwarzenegger ad-libbed the line 'I need a vacation' after fighting with Robert Patrick's character.
• According to James Cameron, Linda Hamilton suffered permanent hearing loss in one of her ears during a shootout scene. She was supposed to be wearing ear plugs to protect herself but she had taken them out in between takes.
