The Turtles arch-enemy, Shredder, has kidnapped the professor who invented the ooze which created them. Shredder intends to use the ooze to destroy them. So the Turtles team up with a kick-boxing pizza boy to take on Shredder once again.

Film Trivia

• During the scene where the Turtles are trapped in a net and fall to the ground, a stuntman broke his ankle.
• Ernie Reyes Jr. was Donatello's fight double in the first film. He impressed the producers so much that they created the role of Keno, the kick-boxing pizza boy, specifically for him in this movie.
• At the beginning of the film April picks up a number of magazines in her apartment. The one on top is a comic book of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
• Originally Bebop and Rocksteady, from the original cartoon, were supposed to appear in this movie. But the writers did not like the idea and so Shredder's new assistants, Tokkar and Rahzar, were created.
