A documentary crew arrive on a remote island in the Philippines to shoot a survival special hosted by Seb (Billy Zane). But the group get more than they bargained for when a shape-shifting monster begins stalking them through the jungle.

• 15 people were used to portray the shape-shifting monster and are credited as creature performers.
• This marks the feature film debut for director Terence Draw. He had previously directed episodes of Brookside, The Bill, Emmerdale and Heartbeat.
• Although set in the Philippines this film was shot entirely in South Africa.
