• Gwyneth Paltrow's specially designed fat suit took over three hours to put on each day.
• In the scene when Anthony Robbins is coming out of the building and Jason Alexander comes to talk to him, the woman who gets his autograph (Bonnie Humphrey) is his wife in real life.
• Cadence, the burns victim in the hospital, is played by special effects artist Tony Gardner's daughter Brianna.
• Brooke Burns played both the attractive and ugly versions of Katrina. Heavy prosthetics were used to achieve the desired effect.
