Scooby and the Mystery Inc. gang must find out who is haunting Spooky Island. But along the way they have to deal with a voodoo curse, Mexican wrestlers, zombies and Scrappy Doo. Co stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard.

Film Trivia

• This film was shot on location in Queensland, Australia. The Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort was used to substitute for Spooky Island.
• Sarah Michelle Gellar hated wearing Daphne's pink boots and so changed into trainers whenever she was able to. At one point in the film she can be seen wearing the trainers.
• To imitate Shaggy's voice, Matthew Lillard would scream for a long time before filming to make his voice hoarse. He decided he couldn't do this all the time and so had to put the voice on.
• Director Raja Gosnell wanted a real couple to play the roles of Fred and Daphne. So Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar were cast as they were dating at the time this movie was made.
• Freddie Prinze Jr. was initially reluctant to star in this movie because he didn't think it would live up to the Scooby Doo cartoon. He was eventually convinced to appear in it by Sarah Michelle Gellar.
