After a one night stand, motel owner Mike (Steve Zahn) becomes obsessed with small-time art dealer Sue (Jennifer Aniston). He follows her across the country determined to show her how much he loves her. Woody Harrelson co stars as Sue's wealthy boyfriend.

• Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn first met in 1995 when Zahn played Phoebe's husband on the hit US sitcom Friends.
• Steve Zahn has said that he had to be very careful in his performance not to make his lovable dreamer appear more like a psychotic stalker.
• Director Stephen Belber wanted to contrast the absurd with the realistic in this film. Therefore the character of Mike (Steve Zahn) is quite awkward and true to life while Jango (Woody Harrelson) is extreme and provides moments of slapstick.
• This film marks the directorial debut for Stephen Belber.
