Joe One-Way (Gil Bellows) went to jail for murdering his wife. After his release he falls for an ex-con and they enter into a doomed love affair. But Joe struggles to leave his life of violence as he tries to redeem himself in the eyes of his daughters.

• This marks the feature film debut for director and screenwriter Gareth Maxwell Roberts.
• Gil Bellows, who plays Joe One-Way, also starred as Billy Thomas on the hit US television series Ally McBeal.
• Although this was filmed in both New York and Rotterdam, Gareth Maxwell Roberts said he deliberately shot the cities so they weren't easily recognisable and could be anywhere in the world.
