Two friends are sent to deliver $50,000 of the mob's money to a man in the Australian outback. But they accidentally hit a kangaroo with their car and it makes off with the money. Starring Jerry O'Connell and Christopher Walken.

• The producer Jerry Bruckheimer added a scene where Kangaroo Jack talks, following the success of Snow Dogs which uses a similar plot device.
• Kangaroo Jack was nominated in the best virtual performance category in the 2003 MTV Movie Awards alongside Gollum, Yoda, Scooby-Doo and Dobby the House Elf.
• This movie was based on an urban legend in which a tourist loses his wallet the same way.
• Jerry O'Connell, who plays Charlie, also starred as Quinn Mallory in the hit television series Sliders.
