Film Trivia
- This marks Elizabeth Spriggs' last film as she died during post-production. She plays one of the elderly residents, Prudence.
- Michael Caine has said that this film is very personal to him because during production his best friend, who suffered from dementia, died.
- Michael Caine parted his hair in the middle because he discovered that all children's magicians seemed to do this. He found that this was their way of paying tribute to Harry Houdini, who always parted his hair in the middle.
- Michael Caine has said that he doesn't know if there is an after-life but if there is he has covered all the angles 'because my father was a Catholic, my mother was a Protestant, I was educated by Jews and now I'm married to a Muslim'.
