Chuck (Adam Sandler) and Larry (Kevin James) are two macho fire fighters. They pretend to be gay and get married so that they can pull off an insurance scam. But a lawyer (Jessica Biel) sees through their lies and tries to expose them.

Film Trivia

• Will Smith and Nicolas Cage were originally lined up to play Chuck and Larry.
• Steve Buscemi makes a cameo appearance in this film as fraud investigator Clint Fitzer. Buscemi worked as a New York fire fighter before he became an actor.
• To prepare for his role as Captain Tucker, Dan Aykroyd visited a training facility where he got to try on the uniform and use equipment such as hooks, ropes and walkie-talkies.
• In one scene Adam Sandler's character confuses David Spade for Jessica Biel in a bunny outfit. In the shot from behind it is actually Biel in the outfit and not Spade.
