Film Trivia
- The actors were free to depart from the script if they wanted to because Michael Winterbottom only used one video camera. Firth says that if he wanted to leave the room and get on a bus the camera would keep rolling and follow him.
- Peria Haney-Jardine, who stars as Joe's daughter Mary, made her acting debut as Uma Thurman's daughter in Kill Bill Vol. 2.
- Director Michael Winterbottom only used a small crew on this movie. This enabled him to film in real locations with real people instead of using extras.
