A former Special Forces Officer (Til Schweiger) transports a reporter to a mysterious island. But when she goes missing and his boat is destroyed he is forced into action. As he explores the island he must fight genetically modified soldiers.

• Screenwriters Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer have worked with director Uwe Boll before on Alone In The Dark. They went on to direct the sequel Alone In The Dark II.
• Uwe Boll has described Til Schweiger as super fit and professional, before jokingly adding that he is better than Jason Statham. Boll worked with Statham on In The Named of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale.
• This film marks Uwe Boll's seventh videogame adaptation.
