Zack (Dane Cook) and Vince (Dax Shepard) work at a local supermarket. While Vince has risen through the ranks, Zack's laid-back attitude has seen him stacking shelves for years. When a beautiful new cashier (Jessica Simpson) starts, their rivalry hots up.

Film Trivia

• Originally Dane Cook was supposed to play Vince and Dax Shepard was supposed to play Zack. The pair swapped roles in rehearsal.
• Because they were afraid that Dax Shepard and Dane Cook looked too much like each other, the producers asked Shepard to dye his hair blonde.
• The characters Glen Gary and Glen Ross are named as a homage to the movie Glengarry Glen Ross.
• Vince says the line 'Oh, he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke'. This is a line from Billy Joel's song Piano Man.
• Eva Longoria Parker had a role in this movie as one of the supermarket's employees but her part was cut out of the final film.
