District 13 is an area cut off from the rest of Paris, run by gang leaders. The government decides to blow up the area to get rid of the criminals. But innocent lives are at stake. So two men hit the streets, guns blazing, to prevent disaster.

• This film is based around the concept of parkour or free-running, which is flowing and acrobatic movements through urban environments. Parkour was invented by David Belle, who stars in this film as Leito.
• Cyril Raffaelli, who plays Damien, is a circus-trained stuntman with a background in martial arts.
