Alex (Bret Harrison) is a cocky card player who dreams of becoming a professional. He meets Tommy (Burt Reynolds), a retired poker legend, who starts coaching him. But their dreams of winning big are ruined by a Las Vegas call girl (Shannon Elizabeth).
