Max (Jamie Foxx) is an LA cab driver. Vincent (Tom Cruise) is a contract killer. When Max picks up Vincent he is forced to drive the assassin around while he carries out five hits across the city. Co stars Jada Pinkett Smith and Mark Ruffalo.

Film Trivia

• Tom Cruise trained extensively with Michael Gould, a former member of the British Special Air Service, for his role as Vincent.
• Jason Statham has a brief role in this film as Airport Man. He hands Tom Cruise's character a briefcase at the beginning of the film. A lot of people believe that Statham is playing Frank Martin, his character from the Transporter series of films.
• Adam Sandler was at one point lined up to play Max and even met with Michael Mann to discuss the character.
• While the two of them were on set, Jamie Foxx crashed into Tom Cruise's car. Foxx was bemused to see that the crew immediately rushed to see if Cruise was okay and forgot all about him.
• When it was decided that the character of Vincent should be a slightly older character, Tom Cruise dyed his hair grey.
