Steven Soderbergh's Che Guevara epic follows Che (Benicio Del Toro) as he resurfaces in the jungles of Bolivia. As he tries to recruit new members to spread his revolutionary message the Bolivian government and the CIA close in on him.
Film Trivia
- Matt Damon has a very brief role in this film as a German priest speaking Spanish.
- Steven Soderbergh chose not to concentrate on Che Guevara's experiences in the Congo because he felt he would have to dedicate an entire movie to it.
- Che: Part Two is filmed in a narrower screen ratio than Che: Part One, so on those occasions when the two parts were screened together, the projectionist had to change the lens and the screen size during the intermission.
- Benicio Del Toro has admitted that the shoot was exhausting because the filmed in five different places, Spain, Puerto Rico, New York, Mexico and Bolivia.
