The two stoners Cheech and Chong start a new business, selling ice cream. However theirs is laced with marijuana that they stole from a friend's plant. They plan to get rich and head for a tropical island but end up on a crazy road trip to evade the law.

Film Trivia

• This film is the third in a series of Cheech and Chong films.
• As well as starring as the lead characters, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong wrote and directed the film.
• Paul Reubens, who is probably most famous for playing the loveable children's character Pee-wee Herman, stars as a cocaine-snorting mental patient in this movie.
• The title, Nice Dreams, is a play on the words Ice Creams.
