True story about Leonard Chess (Adrien Brody), who started a record label. He discovered such legendary artists as Chuck Berry (Mos Def), Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright) and Etta James (Beyonce Knowles). But their fame led to a life of sex and drugs.
