When a student (Erin Cahill) witnesses the suicide of her roommate it sets in motion a series of horrific events. Convinced that the boogeyman is out to get her she tries to warn her friends, who pay the ultimate price for their disbelief.

• Unlike the first two Boogeyman films, the monster is not created using CGI or masks. Instead the effects were achieved entirely with make up.
• Legendary horror director Sam Raimi produced this movie through his company Ghost House Underground.
• Director Gary Jones started out on his career as a special effects technician on Evil Dead II.
