FILM TRIVIA:

>Michael Keaton only appears in around 17 minutes of the entire 88 minute runtime.

>Originally the film was supposed to be much darker and feature scenes that were much more ghoulish. It was only once Burton had started filming Michael Keaton that he realised the effect that a dark comedy could have.

>The studio disliked the name ‘Beetle Juice’ and wanted to call the film ‘The House Ghosts’. Burton didn’t like this and countered jokingly with ‘Scared Sheetless’, he was horrified when the studio bosses actually considered using it!
