Paul Carty is a smart 19-year-old growing up in 1970s Liverpool. He spends his money on clubs and football. One day he meets Elvis, a troubled young man who invites him to join The Pack, a dangerous group of football hooligans. Co stars Stephen Graham.

Film Trivia

• Screenwriter Kevin Sampson adapted his novel of the same name for this film.
• Producer and composer David A. Hughes played in bands like Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark and co-founded synthpop band Dalek I Love You.
• Stephen Graham was given a wig to wear for his character. But the wig was natural and the hair had been taken from a person with straight hair. Because of this somebody had to tong the wig for him every day to make it curly.
• Screenwriter Kevin Sampson chose to focus on Tranmere Rovers over Liverpool football club because Liverpool has too much of a global following that wouldn't fit in with the mood of this film.
