An unlucky-in-love teenage girl wishes that she could grow up and become a successful woman. To her surprise her wish comes true and she wakes up one morning as a sexy 30-year-old woman (Jennifer Garner) with a live-in lover. Co stars Mark Ruffalo.

• As part of her research, Jennifer Garner spent time around teenagers, even attending a sleepover held by the daughters of the producers.
• In Australia the title of this movie was changed to Suddenly 30, as the distributors thought audiences would not understand the original title.
• Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank and Renee Zellweger were all considered for the lead role.
• Despite being set in New York, the production only shot there for 17 days. Everything else, including all the interiors, was shot in LA.
